Affirmations are repeated orders or instructions to the subconscious mind and you can pass any desire or beliefs you want to take place. Did you know that you could actually convince your subconscious mind that you are happy even if you are not and if you repeat a lie over and over again, you will eventually accept that lie as truth? This is called affirmations and concentrating on the end results.
One of the most inspiring motivational self-help books I’ve read is ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill first published in 1937. Its principles and techniques are practical and collaborated by over 500 men of great wealth. In it I learned that if you have the desire to achieve whatever it is that you want and back it up with enduring faith, you would definitely win. This was written long before the Secret of the Law of Attraction became a phenomenon and the concept still lives up to this time.
But what happens if your affirmations contradict your reality? Well, that simply means you have not solidified your focus on that goal. It is only in the repetition of affirmation that leads to faith that things happen if you visualize and affirm to yourself that you already have what you are asking. If you want to get out of debt think of a repayment program instead of thinking how to get out it because it won’t generate emotional energy and you are not actually pushing it away. Think of prosperity instead and having the money that you need.
Our subconscious mind receives and files thoughts regardless of their nature and you cannot control it but you can fill thoughts and desires as well as replace negative impulses with positive impulses and only then will you unlock the key to have complete control of your subconscious.
